Danielle has 20+ years of equine experience to offer her clientele. She specializes in the training and instruction of the dressage and western dressage horse and her rider. She excels at working with every level of rider to help them achieve their goals in a fun and positive setting.
Danielle understands overcoming adversity and limitations. She was born with a genetic disease that keeps her muscles in constant spasms on the right side of her neck, a condition called Cervical Dystonia. Over the years of riding and PT work, she has gained a better understanding of body awareness for both the horse and rider which influences her teaching. Danielle's knowledge of posture, balance and the bio-mechanics of the horse and the rider, allow her to help her clients reach their destination.
Early in her journey Danielle was introduced to the natural horsemanship approach to help with a troubled dressage horse of her own. After seeing what the blending a natural horsemanship approach into her dressage training program and the results that it can produce, she now incorporates those techniques into her teaching methods and has been excited to see the results with her students and their horses.
Danielle has been fortunate to have worked with some pretty amazing horsemen and women; Madeleine Austin, Bo Jena, Michelle Gibson, Jane Savoie, Amy Larson, Tom Nagel, Vaughn Knudson. Jasper Beck, Kelly Underhill, Alison Sader Larson, Sheila Shills, Gerhard Ablinger.
