CN Virtual Dressage Shows Introduces 24/7 Judging into their Show Program. Send us your video anytime and one of our expert judges will provide feedback and scoring. You will receive a ribbon that coordinates with your score.
CN Virtual Dressage is now adding a fun and educational Write and Perform Your Own Test Program. Let our judges see what you have been working on with your horse! Each show we will pick a winner. This is in addition to the regular tests and program! Please submit your test outline with your registration. For more information contact Coeli Netsky.
Any flat level ground of size 20 x 60 meters is acceptable. A 20 x 40 meter area is acceptable for intro dressage tests only. Set up letters or markers at the appropriate places and measure it out. You do not have to have a formal dressage ring, any type of markers or boarder is acceptable as long as it is the proper size.
The video must show all movements of the test, clearly and with good lighting. Place the camera at letter "C" or as close to "C" as possible. If you are submitting a video from a live show, get permission to take the video from the "C" end of the ring, as near to the judge as you can. It's ok if you are slightly off the centerline.
The video must be shot all in one ride, not edited or spliced. Zoom in where necessary. Upload your video to YouTube and send the link in with your registration to mike.netsky@gmail.com. Each video can only be submitted once for the entire series. Click the REGISTER button to go to the registration form.
Rider attire can be casual but you must have proper safety attire. A helmet and proper footwear are required, as are long pants or breeches. No offensive ads or writing on clothing will be allowed.
Tack is flexible as long as it is appropriate and humane to the horse. We accept both traditional and western dressage tack. Other variations such as bitless/bridleless, para-equipment, etc. please check with us before registering. Spurs, whips, double bridle are optional as long as humanely and properly used.
Note: show organizers or judges have the right to reject a video if offensive or inhumane treatment of the horse is observed.
If you have any questions about the guidelines please email Coeli at mnetsky@comcast.net.

The communication was superb. I was astounded at how quickly results came back. I really appreciate how accommodating everyone was. My trainer and I are already studying the test results in preparation for next month's show. Please offer a winter series! We’ll “be there” for sure. It was just the motivation we needed during these dark times. Thank you.
We had looked into several other virtual shows, but they required a official dressage ring, filming form a certain location and dress attire. We just don’t have these things available at our small barn. I appreciate the ability to show in clinic clothes and accommodating us having to film from the corner (due to the shape of our arena). It made this show really accessible. Thanks again.
I found the expanded nature of the scoring very helpful, and really appreciated the time spent on providing that.
I also appreciated the suggestions to create improvement going forward, riding a retired eventer, I need as many as I can get =)
I absolutely intend to continue to participate, and would love if you could pass on my appreciation to the judge for her extended
comments, they were most helpful.
Thank you again.
Yes, very pleased. Thank you. We did one other in August that promised helpful comments from the Judge Mini clinic like, but didn't get quite what we expected. We got a one or two word comment here or there. We felt we got much more information from your judge so we have more to work on. We saw it on NJ Western Dressage FB page.
